hiii i see a few people saying a good tip for language learning is watching something in that language without subtitles, or reading something. i engage in a lot of japanese media but is there anything that could be specifically helpful? some people say try watching chiikawa since its a childrens show and the vocab and sentences are quite easily understandable for a new learner. but is there anything else?

i always did it from music, like find an artist that uses quite simplistic styles of that language and kind of use that. songs are rlly good to practice pronounciation, and then try to read lyrics and sing it at the same time improves reading speed and the ability to recognise the characters
