Can anyone provide me with good definitions for the following language & visual techniques? Mainly effects and any examples would be nice too. Thanks! (I will rep you :D)

Language techniques:
  1. Formal language
  2. Informal language
  3. Dramatic irony
  4. Undercutting
  5. Impersonal use
  6. Racist undertone
Visual techniques:
  1. Facade
  2. Montage
  3. Film strip (mise en scene)
  4. Close up focus
  5. Mid shot focus
  6. Long shot focus
  7. Marginalisation
  8. Centralisation
Random definitions (for Hamlet):
  1. Unity of plots
  2. Unity of action
  3. Unity of time
