From what I can remember when I did this one last year(I don't have it in front of me so it won't be precise) but I remember I referred to the opening scene with both feminist and family interpretations(using Brooks and Eyre) as well as more minor reference to both readings throughout, then I picked out the ending scene and made reference mainly to family - but I linked it to points I had raised earlier in the essay about family and gender and my 2 productions. So while I didn't explicitly link the second scene to both readings, I did connect it to ideas raised so that an implicit connection was there.
