Unfortunately traffic for all the UON forums is pretty much at a standstill.
If you want to check out the curriculum and workload for the course the best way to go would be to look at the program handbook for the course.

Other than that I can't really be much use due to my lack of experience in the field (my area is medical radiation science).
My biggest tip would be to go to events run by the uni I'm pretty sure they have sessions once the ATARS are released cause that's where you will have some better luck finding people from the program to talk to.
