*swoon*

anyone read this?

Its a collection of short stories (11 of them) from the greatest fantasy writers of the modern age. Edited by Robert Silverberg. Every author wrote one short story set in the world which gave them worldwide acclaim. :-D

My god, ssoooooo good.

Hokay, I'll list some of the authors:

Robert Silverberg (set in Majipoor)
Raymond Feist (set in Midkemia)
Elizabeth Haydon (Symphony of Ages)
Terry Brooks (Shannara)
Tad Williams (Otherland)
Robin Hobb (only made one world, take a guess :-\ )

'nuff said. Others, can't remember them from top of head.
But seriously, need I say anything more?

Get it if you can, this is AWESOME!

and no, I'm not a sales agent, just a student who really is enjoying this book.
;)

It was OK. Not as good as 'Legends', though, with it not including Pratchett or Jordan (but being a Discworld and The Wheel of Time fan you can understand why I feel that way)

Martin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire' short story would have to be my favourite.

I still cannot understand the appeal of the Pern series.

You know, since your a "westie" I'm guessing you borrowed the book from blacktown library. :)

hanyway, I'd hafta agree with you. The first one, Robin Hobb's, wasn't all too good.
Pern is urm'ish too. :-\

Song of Ice and Fire one was GOOD! lol, so was Otherland, I think. I liked it, even though it was not that good story wise. The gay man one was hilarious! heehee
I'll hafta get Legends. Hrm

Heh I buy every book that I read, and I live out in the Penrith area (nothing can beat the ice that covers your car every morning).

Haha yes, the Gypsie succubus. That was a good one.
