currently have business studies picked for 2025 yr11 but I hear legals more fun and easy. Thing is I’m interested in both but I don’t want to do all three social sciences bc Ive already picked eco and i think id like to keep eco. So which one’s better scaling wise and content wise.

Not sure about the scaling, but legal is more interesting but with more writing (u have to write 3 essays), while business is easy but boring (u still have to write a lot but not as much as legal)

Ur interest in a subject is directly proportional to how well u end up doing in the hsc. U should probs gauge the syllabus for both subjects and see which one caters more to ur passions. a lot of people choose business studies thinking that it's easy but they end up doing poor cuz the content is ass

Legal scaling is slightly better but most people find the content a bit harder. Both require a lot of writing but legal writing tends to be a bit more analytical and requires more memorisation. Since you're doing eco, business might complement it better, but again you should definitely look at the syllabus and some HSC past papers to see what each subject is about.

Legal is harder (more content) but more interesting. Business is easier (less content) but less interesting. Legal has more writing (3 essays) whereas Business has less writing (1 report + 1 essay). I enjoyed both subjects just as much as each other.
