ive listened to alot of incubus

and they have got nothing on the likes of old school chili peppers

incubus are pretty standard (but great) heavy rock, i dunno how far back your talking, ive got two albums, dunno which ones (they have stuff like a certain shade of green, drive, circles etc on them) but it certaintly isnt what i would call funk.

im not an expert but go listen to some of the bands mentioned in this thread and you will see incubus dont compare.

that was when incubus had the bass guitarist that ended up going to the roots yeh?

chili peppers still produce some pretty funky tunes, and the bass still retains alot of that quality.

it will be interesting to see what they come up with, but if 'rolling sly stone' is any indicator of what they have been writing it will be an awesome album. if 'rolling sly stone' is on it i will be happy.
