We have our first essay! great!

i have to write a letter to the editor in response to a letter the paper has published criticising the new English syllabus for its lack of rigour ie academic challenge.

We have to use our study of heaney's poetry- retreat from the global theme- to make a case for agreeing or disagreeing with the earlier letter.

so we basically have to say whether we think the course is challenging or not-

im am stumped for ideas as it has to be 1000-2500 words

so anyone thats doing this course i would love some suggestions!
