I wanna construct a survey using this method. I dont know where to look for any information about this scale as a valid methodology or anything though... or just how to go about implementing it. Does anyone have any pointers for me or advice or resources which specifically evaluate the likart scale?

It took a bit more than a week before someone came along who knew something that could help me when I posted a question, so don't stress too much about a lack of responses.

Is the Likart Scale when you ask for responses based on a scale, eg one to ten?
I did something very similar looking at interracial relationships (1 was fine with it, 5 strong disapproval). The problem that I had was a difficulty in generalising the responses- people interpreted the numbers differently. In the end I re did the survey with each number having a defined meaning.

yes that seems like what i'm going to do. have a scale of maybe 1-5 and have them labelled like 'never' and 'always'
