If you want to move your live messenger history to another computer, and you take the xml files across, you can't open them because the new computer says "access denied". And now my old computer has stopped working. Do you know how to rectify the problem of it saying "access denied"?

you'll have to move it to the exact same folder as it was in your old computer . i.e. from My received files>hotmail account name and no.>same folder names>same file names etc so your msn can recognise it. if you made it exactly the same, it should work, and your msn contact's history would continue in the same files.
