The Christian way of life and Jesus's teaching is very morally and ethically correct and is often used in modern society, per example, the beatitudes are ways of living humbling and kindly just like how schools etc support kindness and anti-bullying. Love is a major factor as this emotion we are born with and there is a high emphasis on using it to restore peace and humanity. We are told to feed the poor like in the beatitudes it states to help the poor. Humanitarian aid is an example of this etc. (Jobs)
– Ethics lays a foundation for choices and behaviours [and therefore…] – lays a foundation for a stable society. – Ethics provide a counter to our basic human desires – and provide a source of ‘constant’ in changing times – thus providing a ‘plum line’ – a standard – for behaviour [at both at the individual and social levels]. [cont…] – Ethics allows for a relationship with God through an understanding of the presence and power of God, – therefore promoting justice for all people – which can lead to internal and external harmony.
