Mum and I are living on $42 800 a year. Our annual savings is $13,000. I am on the Disability Support Pension and my mum is receiving the Carer Payment and Carer Allowance. The expenses that we are paying include:
- Internet Expense
-Strata Insurance Expense
- Electricity Expense
- Water Expense
- Gas Expense
- Food Expense
-Public Transport Expense
- Council rates Expense
-Clothes expense

We are living on two meals a day each. With the annual savings we are paying down debt to my Aunt for a mortgage for our one bedroom unit which we own. Over the past five years we have payed down $20 000 in debt. Our annual savings = $13 000. In twenty years I will have payed off the mortgage using the savings we generate on our welfare payments. If I get a job I will pay down the debt even faster. The unpaid balance on the mortgage is $270 000.
