For a bloke I've got pretty long hair. And I have a sneaking suspicison it doens't go down to well with the ladies. Is it really that bad? And would long hair prevent you from approaching or going out with a guy???

How long?
Some girls might be attracted to guys with long hair and some might not, its a personal preference.Some guys suit long hair and some don't.
Do you like it long, do you think it suits u?if your happy with it keep it long, if you think they are not approaching you because of your long hair get it cut.Its up to you.I prefer short hair on guys-looks nice and neat, I don't really like long hair on them.

i was ina similar situation, though i cut my hair about a month ago.

my hair+sideburn combination made me look like ross noble, which is certainly better than billy ray cirus

Some guys look good with longish hair, but anything past the shoulders is really pushing it. One of my guy cousins (he's 14) had the same hairstyle as me when he came over from Canada in the middle of last year. It was 1/3 of the way down his back and layered. He really looks like a girl.

depends, because some guys it will suit, some guys it wont. but like others said, past the shoulders is not good. long hair on the majority of guys is grosse, because they dont wash it so it is all greasy. but maybe if you have clean, tied back hair it wouldnt turn girls away. the major turnoff would be a guy with greasy hair

lol. we were at my boyfriends workmates house once, and he put on this porn called 'pleasure island' or something......and lol, i swear every guy had a mullet!
there is some real seedy porn floating around from like the 80's. and every guy in them has long hair or a seedy moustache or something...YUK!

i think that if u like having long hair, keep it that way. girls should like you for who you are, not what they want you to be. i know plenty of girls who have dated guys with long hair; it wasnt a problem for them at all. just make sure its clean and well kept, otherwise i cant see a reason why it would affect your relationships at all! good luck
