ok so im over netball after 11 or so years, and im on the lookout for something to pass my time in the way of sport so i won't become a complete couch potato.

i dont have much money, and therefore maybe a gym membership is not the way to go. im yet to enquire into the prices of dance classes.

any suggestions or advice on what you do??

im also connsidering inquiring into yoga and / or jazzercise... anyone do either of these?

'its "relli" a matter of perspective, isnt it?'
leave brogan alone. he is quite well respected in these parts of the forums.

EDIT: brogan: well my mum doesnt play, but the team is a combination of my dad, three of my cousins, boyfriends of cousins, girfriends of cousins, friends of cousins and my aunty and uncles.

Thanks Lauren <3.

He's the worst troll ever, but since I can't see his posts now, it's not a problem.

EDIT: haha, thats fuckin orsum, its a prick ur busy on the nights they play. U should do something that hones ur sexc dancing ability. ;)
yeh i work thursday nights, and thats the night of mixed comp. i could probably pass in the junior comp of a tuesday, but im not enough of a cool cat to get into a team.

my sexc dancing abilities is leading me to look into jazzercise. i would do dancing, but i dont want to do all that concert crap, and so am yet to look into the pricing of just dance classes for fun.

as far as i know, there arent any european handball teams around here. as i previously explained, touch is out.

im not sure team sport is the best answer. apart from the fact that practically none of my friends touch the stuff and that im not exactly the most social person, im considering steering away from team sport. hence the suggestions of jazzercise and yoga.

well if ur not gonna play a team sport then it doesnt leave you with much. yoga i guess is ur best choice then (if you can even call it a sport)

you're saying that you're over netball after 11odd years

netballs a massive team sport, y stray away from a team sport?

being antisocial's not a good way to be in life its probably better to snap out of it now n break bad habits

wotabout just dancing i no plenty of chicks that do dancing n shit n they love it, im guessing its an option given ur nickname......mite give u sum self confidence too which u seem to lack 4 whatever reason

but yoga i dont think qualifies as a sport, more a relaxation thing

yuore only young n fit once, have fun n make the most of it dont hold back

yeh but what im saying is i dont know anyone else in any team sport. im not completely unsociable, i just mean its hard for me to join a team where i know absolutely noone.

11 years of netball meant i started with my school friends, and met new people along the way. so i was already heavily involved in the club and gre up with most of the girls i eventually became good friends with.

i dont lack self confidence as such, just a little reluctant at first in meeting new people. hence the reason to steer away from team sports where i dont know anyone

yea but the only way ur gonna snap out of that is to throw urslef in the deep end

u dont wanna go thru life not having social skills coz i can guarantee ur gonna find urself in situations where u dont no anyone sooner or later

and the funny thing is there are more than likely people in the exact same situation in that group of people that u 'dont know'
uhh im not saying that i dont have any social skills. im just saying that i dont feel comfortable (at first) in joining a team when i dont know anyone at all. in any team!
