Hi,
I am currently looking for an engaging and excellent english tutor- specialising in HSC topics for my brother who is doing the HSC this year. He needs help with essay writing/ planning, understanding of the texts and also a bit of motivation (and pressure).
We live in burwood, so it is preferable if tutoring sessions were held in burwood or nearby.
It will also be good if the tutor was experienced in the following texts he will be doing this year,
Area of Study-
Discovery- Poetry (Skrzynecki) & Robert Gray poetry
Mod A- comparative study of texts and contexts
- Intertextual perspectives
- Text: George Orwell 1984 & Metropolis (Fritz Lang)
Mod B- critical study of texts
- Shakespeare- Hamlet
Mod C- Representation & text
- Representing people and Politics
- Text- Why weren't we told (Henry Reynolds)
