hey my teacher SUDDENLY decieds to make our skool major project a GROUP ONE

he says it doesnt say anywhere in the syllabus that it must be individual...

can anyone clarify this? this counts 2 my hsc and i dont think i wud like to b in a group for something that counts 40% ....

i really think gropus become unfair coz we all get similar marks in the end even if ppl try harder than others

I know of alot of schools who have it in a group, e.g. SBHS

it's actually quite an encouraged thing for group majors, because it shows project management and team leader skills etc..

But yes, the inevitable losers of a group will show, and you will end up with either 2 ppl if lucky doing the work and the rest waiting for u to finish to add their names on it

i agree it sucks i did mine individually luckily.

Take my advice - if you're stuck in a group where one or more people do little or no work, tell your teacher. It may feel like dobbing, but it's for your own sake.

tell ur teacher you will achieve at least 100% if u work on ur own for sure, and she/he can quote u on that, i'll even help u after my exams are finished and achieve that 100% which is easily achieved.

Who cares dude, just try to get full marks even if they are lazy. Your only making it worse for your self. When it comes to exams you'll kick there ass. Remember the better the class performs as a whole, the greater ure finaly mark will be.

Our year 11 "trial" project was a group work, but thankfully in year 12 it was individual. ^ Same as above.
