hey i think yr 12 is getting pretty close to deciding what they want to do and i personalyl am weighing up my options...

acturial studies = working out insurance premiums? is that all there is to the job? or can u work as "wall-street" stock brokers if u major it with finance? would that help your cause in becoming a broker/banker wateva??...

thats wat i want to do, except not necesarily on wall street... wat majors would u do to excel in a career which would involve something similiar to the sterotypical [rich] broker?

btw ive alwyas wanted to do this, its not jsut for the money, i love every aspect of it...

PLEASE HELP !!! thanks:confused:

Id recommend Macquarie for actuarial, they offer a brilliant course. However, it is a very demanding course. I heard many people drop out of it within the first year. Good money though. Finance would be the best major for a typical stockbroker job.

with actuarial you will find that most people will end up in general insurance

but there are so many different fields where you can work in!

finance goes nice with actuarial

visit some of the actuarial sites on google and you will see
