Making a (basic) screen saver (1 Viewer)

Any ideas for which program/s I should use?

I'm using XP, if that determines anything at all.

i heard of a program called eclipse or something frmo a lonngg time ago in some pcmagazine

umm if ur using a vid program u can use a program called aviviewer or something to preview it as a screensaver...

sorri.. never done it before.. can't help much

i'm sure huy the IT freak would know something about this hehehe ^^

Thanks for the help anyway. I'll check out those ideas.

I'm just after something that I can use to create a slideshow screen saver. I have something that can do that, but it is its own program as a screen saver which creates the slideshow rather than something which creates a separate screen saver file (did that make sense?).

There are quite a few screen saver authoring programs, such as 2flyer which is a shareware program:

Don't know of any freeware screen saver making programs though. Try google.

If you can program just write it in vb or something, make sure it quits on mouse move & is full screen, and rename it to .scr.
