In b economics, do the 4 core economics courses count towards the major?
If they do the course is less than 144 units.

Yes. 144 units is how many units of credit you are meant to undertake, including gen eds etc.

You are going to be first year, just enrol into the core subjects + one elective.

No need to worry about gen eds, filling up the credit points etc... just sit back and relax.. you are only firstyear (and this goes for everyone else too)

Yes the 4 cores count toward the major - you need to do 60CP worth of ECON for your Eco major (meaning 10 subjects INCLUDING the 4 core ones)

A double major of 90 units of credit, with at least 48 units of credit in one of the Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics and Economic History disciplinary streams, with at least 2 options from List B below and at least 42 units of credit in another approved disciplinary stream.

and u have to do 3 options in the course. is the 2 options there talking about from list B apart of the economics major, or the "3 options" u have to do.

Hmm I guess they changed that

The "3 options" are any subjects within the FCE, you could even do a language
(bear in mind the maximum of 60CP of Level 1 subjects though)
