Jsut wandering, how much scaling is involved? more than HSC? whats this SNG???

Do they sometimes give u a higher final mark than u deserve or always below your calculations?

And finally...how come some units dont distinguish a HD GPA and D GPA?? heard the max was 4.... very strange considering others uni has up to 7...

1. scaling : yes.
2. compared to hsc : much much much less. don't expected 90+ unless youre near the top of the class..
3. sng : standard numerical grade.. it tells you where abouts you are in a grade, eg. 65 indicates youre the bottom of credit people, and 74 indicates youre at the top of credit people but not good enough for d.
4. gpa : macquarie is stuffed.. no incentive to get hds besides making your transcript look really good.. wouldn't mind a few more, lol.
