I'd imagine you need at least a D average.

I successfully transferred from law at UOW to ANU.
I did however already have a bachelor of commerce and a year of grad law behind my belt. My marks were not all that crash hot.
Youd want to have a high credit average at least. A distinction would definately get u a transfer.
Your uai is still considered, so the higher that is, the better. mine was high 80's.
it goes something like this. 50% law mark average , 50% UAI.
I have a friend who transferred over to anu into an arts degree and then went to the law faculty and pestered them to let him in. he was successful
