Opinions? Its meant to be the 'intro' video for our presentation, the quality...yeah it'll be a lot better on the day, but the general idea should be there.

Our own Ben (Kegs) makes an appearance ;)

"normal" female gamers definately exist :D

Don't know whether Kegs did Open Day as I wasn't there myself, but he was definately at mid-year orientation day thingy, if you can remember back that far. He's a rather tall bloke and hangs around with Rob.

I am me, and I was at both mid-year orientation and open day.

The video was good mike, I thought it was positive, but then I have a slighty distorted view of gaming.

Nice Work!

Cyan: The positive views will be explored, but the video was intended to show an introductory culture to it, and we were unfortunate not to have gotten the other footage we filmed, the audio was horrible, which illustrated that people 'played' games but didn't think of themselves as 'gamers' :)

Lynn: Haha yeah, you looked tired with the crutches so I decided against interviewing you.

Kegs: I thought it was quite positive as well, I tried to illustrate a 'changing' perspective on it, hopefully it shows.

LCF: Yeah I wanted to refilm those, but Charmaine wasn't available *Shrugs*

Zomg. Any filming done in the filmsoc office warrants either a $500 'Nottingham fee', or 95% of profits and/or marks awarded.... *ruffles through pieces of paper and tries to find/create the relevant Act* :D

Anyway, I larfed at Ben's response: '.......... uh ..................................... uh............................................. it depends what they are' [Interviewer sniggers].

Mike: Was the whole video games being enormously antisocial an intentional point? :p

But yeah, I thought the movie was good. The eerie music was the best.

Haha, well we had better footage, with other 'players' at the arcade, one of whom was totally ignoring Charmaine (the interviewer) cos he was so into the game.

My aim was a kinda hack meets today tonight expose, so I'm glad others got the link/found it funny, won't just be the three people presenting who get it.

On anti-social, we wanted to try and get non-anti-social gamers, but I guess the point was, some people who play games don't consider themselves to be gamers per se, which was an interesting discovery.

haha. oh yeah, your a gamer!

(so there exists at least one normal female gamer).

I remember two in my old school (they were twins). so perhaps that brings the count to three. The male-female gamer ratio may be about 100000000000:1 then. :)
I know quite a few female gamers, but interviewing them was another matter haha

Ah well, you know better now :p (note to everyone else: No matter how tired or angry or upset I look, if you say "Hey Lynn we want you to perform for something" then all my troubles temporarily go away and a happy, bouncy I'll-do-anything-you-want-me-to-oh-yay-isn't-this-fun girl appears :))

Muchly appreciate the gesture though, and the lift home :)

It's pretty good considering the set backs you had ie audio issues and having to edit in Premiere *shudder*

Credit, which was a nice surprise considering I hadn't really written in a book review format haha

Yeah, so glad I got that over and done with, I've been slaving away at designs/logo work outside of uni, and fuck its been busy busy busy :(

Don't think I'd have survived this if we had the exam rofl
