Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post.
I'd like to know if anyone has commenced or completed the Master of Professional Engineering at Sydney Uni by first starting the 1 yr Graduate Diploma of Professional Engineering and then matriculating over to the 2 yr Masters program.

Apparently this is a pathway for those who have a sicence degree outside of engineering to become a qualified engineer. I have a BSc in Earth and Environmental Science from ANU and would like to get into Mechanical or Geotechnical Engineering. From my perspective this plan would be faster than doing a 4 yr Bachelor of Engineering because it would take 3 yrs.
I would appreciate comments from scholars who have experience with this Masters program and from anyone else who has an opinion.
