hi everyone i am just wondering whether or not they are compulsory subjects if i want to do senior units of Maths next year.
well i am not a science student and i read through the handbook, they dont seem to be any of the prerequisites for math2xxx subjects. so i think i will be doing math 1003 only (done 1001 and 1002 last semester) and will do COSC1001( Computational science in matlab) instead of doing either one of them.

does this way work or i must at least do one of them?

thx

Don't you need to do at least 12 credit points of first year maths in a science degree? If you're not in a science degree then I suppose you don't need to do MATH1004 or MATH1005. If you intend to do any STAT units you'll definitely need MATH1005.
