maths 2u what will i get (1 Viewer)

im coming 4/44 for maths 2u my school is ranked around 100-110 and i think i just did really bad in my exam...i am looking at a 60 raw mark

can anyone please tell me what i will get for my final mark?

I'm not a psychic. But...

If you bombed out then your rank is there to save you a bit.

Let's say for now 60 is a high band 4.
Your moderated assessment mark will save you I'm sure. So I'd say you'd get a band 5.

2-3 guaranteed 90s but not sure of others.

Then the next few people "may" get in the 80s.

how will the marks be given i.e. do i get my mark + 4th rank's mark?

Yes you get your external mark aligned. If it is 70, I am guessing, depending on how difficult the exam was for everyone, I'd say you'd be aligned to an 80.
No you do not get the 4th rank's mark, but it may be moderated close to it, depending on many factors of the differences between marks in everyone's internal ranks, median average etc.

So all in all, after those two marks are averaged, I'd say you'll get a potential band 5.

oops i meant 70 raw mark, would that be aligned/scaled(??) to more than 80?

if i guess rank 1 getting 96, rank 2 92, rank 3, 89 and rank 4 88 and i get 70 raw mark can you possible predict close to my final hsc mark after scaling?

Not really because I don't know the band cutoffs. But probably mid 80s.
