How do I find the variance? Please help. I found the mean but I need to find the variance so I can find S.D as well. Someone please help. Thanks

What topic is this and how come I don't remember ever learning it? I mean I did mean and SD in year 10, but not in year 11 😅

An alternative method to using the formula for finding Var(X) is calculating (X-E(X))^2*p(x) under the table and the sum of the values is the variance.

Either it's because I haven't started this week's homework, or we haven't gotten to this point yet....but I have not come across that...I'll be on the lookout haha
