what angle does the tangent to the curve
y=x^2 + 2x make with the positive direction of the x-axis
at the point where x=-1.5

hi everyone,
i was just wondering if the answer to this
was 45 or 135 degrees.

Draw a diagram, it would then be clear that it is 135 degrees

The angle has to be taken such that 0 degrees is the positive x-axis and go anti-clockwise from there.

remember that ur answer on ur calculator may be deceiving since its the acute version so be mindful.
