I know someone who lives in London and has a med offer to Imperial College in London but is planning to relocate to Sydney with family, is there any way they can get into a medicine in Sydney without having to do UCAT again
You have to do UCAT in the same application cycle (UK 2024-2025 application cycle will not count). This is unfortunate, but the hard truth. But also UK UCAT scores and ANZ scores are considered equal, so if this person resists the UCAT in the UK this year, they can use that score to apply to aus unis. Another option is GAMSAT and go post-grad.
But in summary, no unfortunately.
If they got 3 A*'s in their A-Levels (or IB 45/45), it may be equivalent to a 99.95 ATAR which could maybe mean that they could get into the double degree medicine program at USYD, but I'm not sure if USYD allows this
specifically for the program (in general for other subjects/courses A-Level results will definately be eligible).
