hi all,
i've applied to do Nuclear Medicine next year and today i got my interview time in the mail. I'm just wondering if you current MRS students can give me some pointers on how to approach the interview. ie what are the types of questions they ask, how should i prepare etc...

I have an interview for OT, and I have an insider "making some subtle inquiries to what they may ask" lol...The questions will probably be relatively similar, once I find out what mine are, I'll let you know.

basically, the questions are what we should expect
-awareness of course
-time management
-what can i bring to the course/profession
-what do i know of the profession outside of the course

good luck with interviews on the 8th and 10th this week peoples...

jess... tell me how it goes.. i work with a lot of OT students and now that i've worked out what it is, it sounds kinda interesting....

I had my interview on the 6th. It wasn't as bad as i thought it was and no questions really took me by surprised. Basically what jess said sums it up. I also noticed after talking to some others that they like to give you a senario question as well to see how you respond to certain situations. And the interviewers said there would be about a 1 in 4 chance of getting in, with around 45 places up for grabs. Hope all you BOSers do ok. My false optimism is not really working though....IT WAS DOOOOOM!

haha, my scenario was "a fellow student in the course confides in you they are having difficulties with some aspect of the course, what do you do?" ...my jaw moved up and down several times before anything came out, and even then it was mindless babble!
