I am aware of an English E2 meetup which occured about a month or so ago, this is what kami had to say:Dreamerish*~ said:What happened at the previous BoS meet-ups? Were they fun?
I tried a search on the forums but didn't find any other obvious BoS meet-ups.kami said:Basically five of us turned up - myself, enigma, nwatts, illoduos, ameh and we had a good time.
What's wrong with meeting up for study, as long as the "book" has a pulse and is easily tickled into submission.karoooh said:I'd prefer State as well, however the Sydney Uni idea is good - Where meeting up to go places right? Not study?
Please not study, PLEASE not study...
yeah thats actually a great idea.kami said:I suggest that if you are thinking of going to a uni to meetup, you might as well make it on the upcoming open days - you can leech free stuff from the unis and it will be extra motivation for everyone to make that trip. Furthermore if people are late (as they always are...) they'll be drifting around in the uni somewhere so its not like they are wandering the CBD looking for you. And once you've all met up and had a quick gander at the uni you could get some free food then go to the movies after.
