Product Markets -

Trade Practices Act 1974
- Outlawed Monopolisation, Price discrimination, exclusive dealing + Collusion

National Competition Policy (Competition Policy Reform Act)
- Established ACCC
- State Govt. instrumentalities - agreed to reform gas+water etc
Lots more for this, can't remember :/

Tax Reform
- New Tax System July 2000 --> increase productivity etc

Factor Markets -

Industrial Relations Reform
- Workplace Relations Act 1996
- New IR Laws that come in next year

Reform of Financial System

Regulation + Deregulation

Corporatisation/ Privatisation/Commericalisation/Competitive Neutrality

I think thats the basics of it.. i've prolly missed out on some stuff, micro is my worst topic

think of mirco policy as assisting structural change and structural adjustment --> as it encourages effiecency and productivity which is part of structural change.

microeconomic make firms more efficient etc thus that would change their production patterns, thus promoting structural change.
