Can i only activate windows when i reformat my comp if the CD was only used on my computer and no other computer?

If you've already activated Windows you do not need to do it again on your computer. If you reformat, the activation key you have will still work for your computer, provided you haven't had any major hardware upgrades since you last activated.

It keeps telling me the product key is wrong but it isn't...

Anyway, i just called them and activated it
