If you don't know what a 'mid ocean ridge is' then I'd suggest you google it and/or look at a textbook before asking here (unless the book/google doesn't make sense to you)
I forgot this from year 11 but I think mid ocean ridges are when two tectonic plates collide and 'lift up' the ocean floor at that point, and sea floor spreading is just the creation of oceanic crust which spreads away from the mid ocean ridge.
