To think how much this thread has grown from the one question about some combination stuff...:D

IF there is a way to teach logic, could someone let me know?..., there's this kid 'boarding' in my house who has no idea how logic works...

Step him through a few different logic puzzles and then help him solve some on his own. Practice, practice practice.

It's possible.. but requires time, which we don't have right now...
*files method into archives, and takes out a logic puzzles book*

Of course, that's assuming I can get un-brainwash him from all the influences of Japanese TV products...
*thanks anyway*

I think it's possible to teach logic anyway... starting early, one can get proficient at maths which otherwise they'd suck at. It's nurture more than nature (look at some of the asians).

Probably the wiring differences in brain, which can be changed.

I'm born left-handed, but I use my right hand now... therefore I think logic skills can be modified as well...

Logic? I thought you were born with/without it?
How many babies are logical? Imo, logic, along with everything else, is developed throughout your childhood and the rest of your life. Some people may have a genetic predisposition towards logic, but I don't think you can be born without it - it's a way of thinking.
