allright here goes
- arrive there at 7:40pm (ticket says show starts at 7 30pm), got a good spot standing bout 3rd row from the front of the stage, basically exact same spot i was in for common, same side of stage and all lol.
- watch the DJ play half hip hop half pop rap....guess which songs most of the crowd went off too ('wait' 'how we do' 'drop it like its hot' 'so seductive' etc) but they quieted down and just stood there when the dj played songs like 'guess whos back'
- dei hamo came out performed a few songs, was average, very average
- crowd waited some more, started getting restless
- phrase came out and put on a good performance, i liked it.
- crowd waited A LONG TIME and became very restless, my mate was complaining like a little bitch 'oh im bored bla bla bla' well i guess he had a right to...because IT WAS 10PM
- mobb deep came out at 10:20, went crazy, first song they performed was 'cobra' then they did 'put em in their place' then 'when you hear the' and then 'survival of the fittest' were all good performances too. It was at this point this faggot fucking security piece of shit came and warned me to turn my digi-cam off (i was taping the survival of the fittest performance) i was real pissed off.
- they then went on to perform song after song after song from blood money, didnt really like that i wanted some more old school mobb deep.
- i bought my camera back out but didnt get as good video because i was holding it lower so security didnt see.
- they said 'take em back' then performed 'burn' was a boring performance though.
- THEN 'shook ones' came and it was CRAZY, didnt get good video it was pretty shakey and there were two tall faggots in front of me.
- 'quiet storm' i just wanted prodigy to perform the whole original version but havoc did his verse from the remix, which wasn't a bad thing i just prefer the original.
- 'got it twisted' was a good performance, crazy.
- keep it thoro' was crazy.
i think they then went on to perform 'the infamous' and 'have a party' have a party was CRAZY i didnt get video coz i was bouncing around the place.
they then walked off the stage and people wanted more
so they came back and did 'its mines' which was crazy.
then, they left. people thought they were going to come back and perform 'hell on earth' but they didnt come back. Was dissapointing.
overall - they performed for about an hour and a half, after we waited for three hours. So people were a bit dissapointed, i was thankful that they good songs were crazy, but my mate hated it he thought they didnt put any effort in, but i liked it for what it was. The wait drove people crazy though alot of people wanted a refund.
my friend gave it 3/10, i think that was too harsh.
i would give it 6/10
definently nothing compared to common though.
