I got a Nokia 7250 off a friend...and it turns on and everything, but i cant send messages, or call, or anything. (it displays the carrier message i.e. Virgin)

i sent myself a message from another phone, and it didnt arrive

when i tried calling my phone it said "The Number you are trying to dial is not compatible with your equipment".

Wtf is going on??

what type of phone were u suing to call/msg urself? and why were u doing that?

maybe did u take the sms out of ur fone and put it in this other one?

oh, i just discovered, my firend gave me a STOLEN phone (I checked the IMEI)

I got a friend whos dad is a cab driver and now and then he finds a phone in his cab. If he's lucky the phone might work.
