They require a plugin on the forum (tapatalk, vbulletin mobile suite)

Download Opera on your mobile & use that.

It works fine on an iPad too.

Actually, Android's Honeycomb browser is the best, it's pretty much the exact same as Google Chrome.

There's higher priorities at the moment. The forum already displays fine in most smartphone browsers.

We would have to buy vbulletin mobile suite and for the moment I can't see the potential gain justifying the cost.

Maybe one day.
