Hi,
I just wanted to ask abt the reflection for mod c. If its a normal size one like 6-8 marks on prescribed texts, should you do 1 or 2? My school has implicitly taught us to do 2, although they've never assesed mod c under timed conditions - except the trial... so its always a bigger hand in task that isn't really comparable to the hsc section... I am prepared to do 2 but have been reading nesa band 5/6 samples and the 2 i read from thr 2019 adv it was a bigger reflection for 10 marks and both only used one text. I dont want to get marked down for 2 - esp. bc i feel like i'll be waffling on for a lot longer trying to give context to the text, and talk about purpose, i wonder if it would just be better to try stretch it to do 1.... right now in the practice ones ive done ive been doing 1 body para for each prescribed text, with 2 quotes in each from a prescribed text, and 2 quotes comparing it to mine. so 8 quotes total – 4 not including when im citing my own response. If you think i should just do 1 prescribed text, should I do 4 quotes from it?

You can do just one or two, either works fine from what I've seen. However they might explicitly tell you to reference only one. For example the ones from 2019 only referenced one text because their question explicitly stated to do so Screenshot 2025-10-16 at 7.49.11 pm.png
