480 revolutions per minute? Per second, 480/60 revolutions.
One revolution is 2Pi radians...
Answer:
=480*2Pi /60
= 16*Pi rad / sec

tangential speed is always angular speed times the radius.
.'. = 16Pi * 0.3
= 4.8*Pi ms<sup>-1</sup>
