MSN Avatar missing!!! (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I'm experiencing some wierdo situation with my MSN 6.2. I am able to put an avatar up and the avatar can be seen by everyone. The problem is, is that I've noticed that I can no longer see anyone else's pic. I have reinstalled MSN 6.2 but nothing has changed. Can anyone provide me with a soloution please? I am using Windows 98 SE. Thanks

what do you mean "can't see"..

does it come up with just the msn logo or does it not give you the option to see a picture at all.

No, I'm not hiding it, there is no MSN logo at all, the space for the avatar just seems to have dissappeared.
Do you think I've deleted an important windows file that's preventing me from seeing other friend's pictures? BTW, everything else works fine, it's just the avatar problem.

well win98 does require a format once every 3months to keep it efficient...

well that's what i did back then...and what most people i knew did too

i havent formatted my P100 for over 8 years and it still runs pretty.. goood.. sort of ..

Nah, that's not an option at all as yet. Reformatting would erase everything that isn't on a removable storage device. I'll just have to wait to the end of this year to buy a new laptop from HK. Thanks anyway.
