hi does anyone here know how to make an image appear on each page, withuot havin to add it everytime in ms word

I think he just wants a transparent image, on the background of each page (a huge watermark!).

shakespeare, you can always change your default word template (normal.dot I believe), but that's risky - just change it each time you use it, otherwise you'll be making changes to the default templates being used and applied, each time you startup word.

Better yet create a custom template.

You could add it as a header/footer image? I don't use word all that much.. sorry :)

haha, i did the first 3/4 of my marketing assignment using OPENOFFICE thankyou very much :D

then everybody kept sending me stuff which had great MS formatting so i had to install office. wasn't a hassle, and i've left it on both my pc and laptop... but it's HUGE.

Open Office's Writer - Microsoft Office's Word. It's the same thing to me, a word processing app.

I agree though, Office installations (minimal, don't get me started with the full installations) take up a gazillion megabytes. :rolleyes: It's not a big deal though, but I'm a neat freak and would prefer to have files I understand residing on my system.

(Go the Macs!) :)
