What exactly is the difference between a multinational and a transnational corporation? From memory, one has branches while the other has subsidiaries but I'm not quite sure.

IIRC, multinationals has branches in different countries whereas TNC's have subsidiaries.

A TNC-transnational coportaion is a company that has opearations in different countries to form an interconnected global network of operations

MNC-Multinational corporations are bizs that operate in more than 2 countries
