I'm starting to wonder how the uni can gain anything about your knowledge of a course when the entire assessment is based on multiple guess!!!

for LING1110, there were five assignments that were multiple guess throughout the course and today the exam was forty more multiple guess!!! and they gave us 2.5 hours to do forty guesses!!!!

as a result of the course i feel that i am now less knowledgeable about linguistics... all i know is how to colour in little ovals!!!

ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

You should be thankful, unless they take off marks for wrong answers (like in one of my tests). I wish all my tests were multiple choice:(.

What is wrong with 180 multiple choice questions? I would rather that than writing out answers:).

lol, ebusiness? How easy was it!

btw, don't worry about not finishing macro... I *just* finished enough of it last semester to get me a pass overall and I had an hour extra time!

eBusiness was the only subject that I didn't read the book for (I ran out of time), but yeah, the exam was pretty easy. I missed out on five multiple choice questions and didn't have any idea about the Forward/Backward Chaining question though. I can't believe it was a three hour exam though, it should have only been about one and a half:lol:!

I finished Macroeconomics, it was Financial Accounting that I didn't finish. Is that what you are talking about? How did you get extra time:confused:?

I did Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and both of them just had ten short answer questions worth ten marks each:).

lol... if I don't get at least a D for ebusiness, I'll be very cut.. I only attended tutorials all year and read some of the notes I got through a note taker :D

Uh, yeah.. sorry. I did all 10 questions for macro... only just did enough to pass financial accounting overall since I was sitting on a fail going into the final exam - needed 60%+ in the final exam to pass, got 52 at the end :p

I get extra time 'cause I have a hearing impairement.. *shrugs*, not much help if you don't know the work already 'cause I find if you know the work you finish within the time easily.

Yeah, I am sure I will get at least a Distinction in EBUS1010 too:cool:.

I was on 36/40 for Financial Accounting before the exam:D, so I only need a Credit in the exam to get a Distinction overall, but I wanted a High Distinction for the subject, which won't be happening now:(.

OK then. I new everything for the subject though, I studied so hard for it and I still didn't finish though. I wrote for the whole time, I didn't even think. I seriously don't think even the lecturer could have finished the exam in time:rolleyes:. I finished my other three exams though, so I shouldn't complain:).

The test for linguistics was crap, I did it in about 40 minutes and I was one of the last ones left. I had no idea what was going on, cos Ive hardly gone to any lectures and everything i studied wasnt in there!!!

Yeah, I was going well but I won't get 82%, I left out about 25 marks worth of questions:(.
