Music festivals in Spring&Summer 2006/early 2007 (1 Viewer)

Hey people. I desperatly need your help! A friend told me that Belangin global music festival 2006 is canceled. HOLY SHIT! NO! So... I was wondering if there were any similar festivals. I'm looking for something that goes for or over 3 days, is under 30$ a day for entrance (I have a few students that have next to no money interested), you can camp and there is decent music (not rap/hip-hop), is relativly big but not too big... and is above Taree (or so) in latitude (due to freezing nights in tents). PREFERABLY hippy in culture.

PLEASE HELP! I need my yearly dose of festival and this year will be disapointing if I don't have it. I NEED IT!!

coachella music festival .. line-up is like franz ferdinand, sigur ros, clap your hands say yeah, imogen heap, the rakes, wolfmother, head automatica, tool, massive attack, madonna, yeah yeah yeahs, bloc party, scissor sisters, james blunt, mogwai, sleater kinney, coheed & cambria, mylo, ted leo and the pharmacists, metric, youth group etc.

it's also above taree in latitude. quite a fair way above in fact, as in california
