Hey guys,

im composing a piece for this topic and was wondering if anyone can reccomend any interesting composers (impressionist or otherwise) that i can check out. preferably looking for unusual sort of works, but they have to fall under this topic

so far ive looked at sonny chua, prokofiev and debussy

any other suggestions?

20th and 21st century is a pretty broad topic. Stravinsky is considered by some to be The most significant. Also, Stockhausen, Cage, Schonberg, Berg, Webern. Then you've got people like Shostakovich. Plenty of composers to choose from.

its not the external hsc composition. we had a class assessment task.....3 weeks after the trials mind you, i dont even think that's allowed
