Hi guys, I'm looking into studying music in uni. I am classically trained (ABRSM grade 8 in violin and piano).

I know that Sydney Conservatorium has the best music course however it's really hard to get in. So if I'm unsuccessful, what is the alternative pathway for me? (What are some of the best uni/conservatorium in Australia for music?)

I am willing to travel interstate to undertake a music degree in any university.

UNSW isn't too bad itself, I applied myself and got an offer (so do give it a try ^^). I've heard Queensland is also pretty good for music
