I'm currently doing the Music 1 course at school, and I was wondering if I could get some advice on Viva Voce's - how to do them, etc.
Basically, I'm no good at performing. I want to do all 3 electives as musicology (viva voce), but my teacher doesn't cover it whatsoever because every other person in the course is only doing performances.
So what exactly do I need to do for this? I honestly have almost no idea, I've done a viva voce once before but I don't know how good it was...we never got our marks back. Do I have to do it on a particular theme? song? genre? What should I talk about? How long do I speak for? Do I bring examples?
Anyway, hopefully someone can answer this...I'd be super thankful!
