Of the top of my head I have to say Mr Tim Riley book. 2002 edition economics for year 12 i think the title is. Anyways have a look at that, because it has tons of info and stats. Great book, but goes too much in depth and some info is unnecassry. I hope that helps

Economic growth - 3.8%
Unemployment - 6.0%
Inflation - 3.2%
Budget Surplus - $2.1bn (2002/03 Cash)
CAD - $22.2bn (3.2% of GDP)
Net Foreign Liabilities - <snip>
NAIRU - Don't try to quantify this, just know that it supposedly exists. And even then, no-one has proved that it does exists, and believe me, if I ever get the chance to disprove it, I will. And hopefully I'll get a Nobel Prize for my efforts! :)

Inflation: 3.1% (up 0.9% in June Qtr)
Economic Growth: 3.8%
Net foregn DEBT: 326.4bn (47.1% of GDP)
CAD 01-02 3.1% of GDP..dunno about the exact figure

I got that from the ABS. I guess when they said liabilities they meant debt, so it does look as though my NFL stat is wrong.

The method used to get that figure is quoted as the "expendature method". It gives the market exchange rates number too, which is US$357.3 (keep in mind that it is in USD). If anyone wants to see the website for themselves it is at The Economist.
