I have just finished reading this book i grabbed off the shelf local library, its call Behind the Moon written by Hsu-Ming Teo
It is the about the struggle of three families from the old Australia in to the new. I wonder of this book is that, i manages to capture the view point of the Vietnamese boat migrants after the Vietnam War. Two of the three families originated in the war driven Vietnam, while the other is a typical veteran family.
The plot is simply amazing, the way the author manages to describe the change in the lives of the family is simply amazing. I would think the theme of this book to be metamorphisis of humans, or change. (Not really sure, jsut wanna be tech
)
This is a must read in my opinion, I am a fan of M.Reilly and other horror/crime genres, this read proved to be a change in my normal reading style, however this led me in a weird and satisfying journey of discovery.
AGAIN, i will say, READ THIS BOOK!!!
