Regarding number 4.
When I was having a shower this morning I kept thinking of that one sentence. "Failure is not an option".
I must've been telepathically connecting with you.

'failure is not an option' is a bit harsh.

'Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end.' - Denis Waitley

Depends on your personal interpretation.
For me it means that I should not expect to fail or to accept failure. I think of it as something which must be avoided at all costs. Even if it does occur, I don't think of it as failure but as a 'temporary detour'.
Kind of like a conglomeration of your quote and the original "failure is not an option'. Bleh.. too much thinking.

Do not put yourself in a position where you do six majorworks unless you are completely insane.

But.

Theres only four? Should you not complete the bibilical illusion to the "Ten Commandments" by creating six more?
